PUBLICATION ETHICS
Responsibilities of the Editor
- Publication Decisions: The editor is fully responsible for deciding which articles to publish based on the scientific quality and contribution of the research.
- Fairness: The editor must ensure that the evaluation of articles is conducted objectively, without bias, and is not influenced by the author’s affiliation or personal views.
- Confidentiality: The editor must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and should not disclose any information regarding the articles to unauthorized third parties.
- Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: If the editor has a conflict of interest with a manuscript under review, they must recuse themselves from the review process for that manuscript.
Responsibilities of the Author
- Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original and free of plagiarism. Proper acknowledgment should be given to any work or data used from other sources.
- Authorship and Contribution Statement: Authors should clearly state the contributions of each author in the submitted article.
- Disclosure of Data and Additional Materials: Authors should be transparent in providing raw data and other research materials supporting the study’s results if requested by the editor or reviewers.
- Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: Any funding sources or potential conflicts of interest should be clearly disclosed in the manuscript.
Responsibilities of the Reviewer
- Objectivity of Evaluation: Reviewers must provide objective, honest, and constructive evaluations of the articles, without bias toward the authors or particular affiliations.
- Confidentiality: Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the article content they review and should not use it for personal benefit.
- Timeliness: Reviewers should complete the review process within the set time frame and provide helpful feedback.
- Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: If a reviewer has a conflict of interest with a manuscript, they should inform the editor and recuse themselves from the review process.
Responsibilities of the Publisher
- Transparency and Accessibility: The publisher is responsible for ensuring transparency in the publication process and accessibility of publication information in OJS.
- Enforcement of Ethical Policies: The publisher should ensure that all parties involved in publication follow the established ethical policies.
- Handling Ethical Complaints: The publisher should be prepared to handle complaints related to ethical violations and take necessary actions to resolve such issues.
